Darmawansah is a former high school teacher with a decade of experience across various institutions. In his last role, he served as Vice Principal, where he provided guidance to students and parents on higher education options and helped develop the curriculum for IGCSE and A/AS levels at his school.
A passionate debater, Darmawansah has competed in both regional and national tournaments. He is proudly from East Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. After earning his doctorate from the Graduate Institute of Digital Learning and Education at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (Taiwan Tech), he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the "Empower Vocational Education Research Center" under the Higher Education Sprout Project by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan.
Currently, Darmawansah is an assistant professor at the Global Foreign Language Education Program, International College at Providence University, Taiwan.
